I have always been fascinated by intelligence in its many forms—how humans reason, how machines learn, and how the two can intersect. What began as curiosity led me to explore machine learning through research, hackathons, and internships, where I worked at the intersection of AI, creativity, and real-world applications. At Adobe, I’ve built intelligent systems that integrate generative AI into workflows, and in my research experiences at IIT Hyderabad and Georgia Tech, I’ve explored how models can be optimized and better understood.
Now, as I join Carnegie Mellon University’s Language Technologies Institute, I carry both excitement and questions. Do I want AI to power everyday life so humans can focus on meaning-making? Yes. But do I also want to push the boundaries of AI itself, exploring how it can augment discovery across disciplines? Absolutely. It is this balance—between building practical systems and advancing deeper understanding—that fuels my journey as a student and researcher.
